TSM client unable to expire file having wildcard character in it's name

Hi all,

I'm facing a problem with one of our TSM clients (v 4.1.2.0 on AIX 4.3.3 , yes 
I know it's not supported anymore), wich consistently issues the same error 
message while trying to expire a file created by some IT beginner, using a 
wildcard character. 
Message looks like this :

26.08.2003 22:10:19 Retry # 1  Expiring-->                    2 
/pan_comm/p400/remsh/sap/p400@r*pasapch.mgmt.panalpina.ch  ** Unsuccessful **

Is there any chance for me getting a rid of this file, and how  ?
