Hi,
my 2 cents (since we moved from Schilling to Euro we have Cents too).

I think Tivoli should provide an Admin Interface for every level of
Admins.

Commandline, SQL, Web is fine for all Gurus (this are the guys who can
be
found on this list)

A *real* GUI (Windows, Java ...) should be for the once in a month
admins
(like our DB admin who wants to know why his Oracle RMAN backup doesn't
start - he needs the admin interface to check if there is another
process
or session owning the tapes ...)

People with different levels of skill use TSM. I think Tivoli should
provide
tools to make the handling of backup and restore as easy as possible.
As I learn from this thread there is still a big demand for a kind of
GUI
admin interface.

Maybe Tivoli will listen to those people where the $$ come from.
