Hi all,

I'm sharing a 3494 library between two linux (RH AS 2.1) boxes running
TSM 5, Release 1, Level 5.4. Everything was working just great. One was
acting as the library manager and the other was a library client.

A couple of days ago we upgraded the 3590E drives in the 3494 to H
drives. The library manager continues to operate just fine. The client
box can mount scratch tapes just fine, but when it coms time to mount
an existing tape (to move the data to a new tape) I get the following
on the library client....


tsm: TSM-SLAVE-1>move data 007984 stg=NODEDISK wait=yes

There are drives available, TSM-MSATER has no problem, and at this time
there were no other tapes mounted. "show mp" tells me there are no
mount points allocated.

The tapes had been marked as READONLY before the exchange. The tapes
are not showing errors or weird state in q libv or q vol.

Any help with this would be *very* gratefully received.... the flat
spot on my head from banging it on the desk is starting to draw
comments from my co-workers!
