The simplest way to ensure all a clients files go to a single tape or
set of tapes for that client is to set collocate of the target tape
storage pool. that means you would need at least a single tape for each
client in that storage pool.

Tim - TSM gives precedence to using volumes assigned to a storage pool
via
      Define Volume, so you can do that.  If the node had previously
partly
filled tapes ("Filling") state, you can temporarily mark them as
readonly
to cause use of that fresh, defined volume.
