The requirement is set for a *supported* version. As it was known before
the announcement that v4.2 will be out of support when TDP 5.2 is out, it
isommited from the list.
It might work and might not. But in case of problems you cannot get
support from IBM, that's it.

Hello all,

I have a question about one of the requirements for TDP for Oracle 5.2:

According to the documentation, TDP for Oracle 5.2 requires TSM server 5.1
or later. We are in the process of planning to upgrade our TSM server from
4.2 to 5.1 but we are not there yet.

Can we install/test TDP for Oracle 5.2 using TSM server 4.2? Has anyone
done
this? Or should we wait until we upgrade the TSM serve to 5.1?
