HI TSMers,

On a LAN free setup (pure AIX, SAN), is there a big difference between using
FILE device class drives vs using SANergy? What does SANergy really do? I
have tested FILE drives and it sits on NFS. I also know that it is Sequential
just like the tapes and needs more Drives to support multiple node concurrently
backing up. I guess what I'm looking for is something like Disk device class.
Can SANergy support the Disk Device class or is it also Sequential File
Devices. What's the difference? Any opinion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
