In the same manner as the production TSM knows of destroyed off-site
volumes. Not. Unless TSM needs to use one of the missing volumes it don't
care. The command to synch the virtual data = reconsile volumes.

Hi all,

I just defined my production TSM server as a virual volume server to my test
TSM server, no problem. Testserver was very happy backing-up storagepools to
the production server.

So now I 'lost' a volume on the production server, containing virtual
volumes containing data of the testserver's copy storagepool. So now I
expect to have some automatic way of finding out on the testserver that some
of it's copypool data on the production server has been lost and needs to be
sent over there again during the backup stg. Unfortunately no....

So no the biggy, how does one TSM server find out that virtual volumes
served by another TSM server were lost?
