Image backup requires a Windows 2000 - this will not work on NT4.

This is a repost of the same question last week which did not get much
traction.

Enviro:
W2K TSM v5.1.6.3 server
Windows v5.1.5.15 client

The Challenge:
An OLD NT4 client server needs to move its data to a NEW W2K client
server.
Move ~160 GB of data files (NO OS files) needs to be moved.

My suggested answer:
Use image backups of old NT4 client server data files and place them onto
the new W2K client server.

Is this a viable solution for the Challenge?

If so, what are the DO's and DON'Ts of image backups?

If not, what would be a better solution?

I have read the v5.1 Windows Admin guide on Logical Volume backups and
Image Backups.

Comments??
