This is exported from an Netapp Filer and it is mounted W.R.T nfs ON
AIX.Netapp has other NFS exported file systems on which I am able to ftp
files >2gb.

If I am right disks that are  attached to AIX server for lvm creation smitty
3 rd option is to create with large file system enabled.But this is NFS from
other Server i.e Netapp Filer.

Did you create this filesystem with the large file enabled option ? or you
can also create in jfs2 (smitty jfs2 instead of smitty jfs)

By default, AIX create a filesystem limited to 2 Gb files, you can go up to
64 Gb files with jfs, and much more with jfs2 (I don't remember the exact
size but for the moment, it's very likely far more than what you could
need)

All-

On one of the NFS file system of AIX5L I am not able to ftp file >2gb
.ulimit are set to -1 for file and data segment.
Its mounted in version 3 NFS.

Can any one tell me what I am missing?
