Re: How to clean up TSM database backup on file level ?

Thanks a lot. Actually I wanted to clean up file level databases. I also
take TSM DB backup on tape and I wanted to delete only file level backups
and hence I was trying command
Delete Volhist todate=today-5 type=DBBackup devclass=FD
Where FD is the device class I defined for file level TSM Db backup. Any
idea what to do for that ?

Hi!
What you need to do is run
Delete Volhist todate=today-5 type=DBBackup
to keep 5 days generation. (Today-X, where X is for how many days from
today you want to delete)
And you don´t need to delete the file from the filesystem becuse that does
TSM on it´s own.
