Hello,

Matter of fact, I have seen this just yesterday. At least similar...
But in the activity log the backup spited out additional error messages
which I was able to use to PD. Do you see any error messages before data
transport report for this client?

Audit of the TSM database revealed missing or incorrect information for
storage volume. Luckliy the audit of the TSM database didn't took long
because the size was very small. As it appears the the problem went away.
I will be trying to reuse the volume to see if the problem is really gone.
Output result of database audit
ANR4249E AUDITDB: Missing or incorrect information for storage volume
0BD81D -
information will be created or corrected.
ANR4251E AUDITDB: Extraneous reference found - information will be
recreated or
deleted.

This client is Tru64, I'm told with the most current level TSM client for
the OS level, which was just upgraded last weekend. No objects backed up,
no
failed objects yet 7.25mb transferred. Looking at the manual for error
codes
isn't much help on ANS1028S. Anyone seen similar problems elsewhere?
