Gerald,

TSM cannot translate the data from it's native file system format.
Linux and AIX have completely different file systems.  Not to mention
that AIX is big Endean while the Intel platform was designed on a little
Endean platform.  I would bet that if you restored the data back to an
AIX box and then FTP it to the Linux box Lotus Domino would be able to
open it because it's maintained in it's own proprietary format.

The only other possibility would be to try and see.  Good luck!

Can tapes backed up from an AIX server (Lotus Notes nfs files) be
restored to a Linux server? Or since AIX has it's own jfs does that
automatically mean the server you restore to must also be AIX?
