I suspect that these files were backed up with a 5.1 client. Install
5.1.5.15, and see if that makes any difference.

Client trying to restore his files to a new machine.

Not sure of client version on previous machine, but os was win xp.

New machine is client v4.2.3.0 os is win xp.

Extract from his tsm error log follows:

TSM command line followed by dsmerror.log message:

restore \\rjohnson\c:\doc\*.* -subdir=yes -replace=no

04/09/2003 09:58:24 RestoreFiles: Unknown objInfo header
format:1,\DOC\ITMFG471_SPR03,\ROBOT_PGM_2_5.DOC

I suspect it is a client version missmatch, but not sure.

Any ideas?

tsm server v5.1.6.2 on solaris 8.
