Hi,

with OS/2 and NT4 I used to work with tools from www.lanicu.com.
They support W2K as well.
You basically can save selected information about rights, users, servers, ..

into text files, edit it if you wish,
and restore it if you wish.
It is the tool to go with if you need it.

regards
Juraj

Betreff: W2K and ACL's

Hi all,

We have some trouble with our W2K servers backup on TSM. There are a lot of
new versions backed-up although only the acl's have changed while the file
content is the same as before. .
My question : is there a possibility to store the acl's separate from the
file-content ? (I heard from microsoft, that some backup-tool can handle
it).

Thanks a lot

Chris
