backups are scheduled via TSM's scheduler on low end client (workstations)
but on servers (oracle, ...) backups have to be planned within the whole
production, thus, the backup jobs are scheduled as any other batch jobs
throught our office-wide scheduler, dollar-universe

i think that any scheduler able to work in a distributed environment and
able to get/set the correct rights and permissions to access system
resources should be able to handle tsm backups

i consider that backups (and even more, archives) are standard jobs and
that they should be integrated within normal production control, and tsm's
scheduler is not able to that.

Bien sûr que je suis perfectionniste !
Mais ne pourrais-je pas l'être mieux ?
