the contents of your tdpo.opt (one of them), dsm.sys
and dsm.opt? I will need to relate to one another
right?

For what it is worth I have 4 instances of oracle on
AIX and I simply
have
separate directories for each instance each with their
own tdpo.opt
file
under the executables directory. My dsm.sys has each
instance as a
separate
servername so that I can keep it separate from the
file backups and
then I
store the dsm.opt file in the separate directories.
