Arnaud,

Carlos responded to your question. See this append:

He asked some additional questions about the situtation.

Thanks,

Hi *SM'ers,

Sorry to come back with that topic, but I'm seriously frustrated not
finding the response anywhere ! I suppose there are thousands of people
using informix onbar in conjunction with *SM to backup their data, and
probably some of them have a solution to that problem, but wether I'm blind
or I don't know how to use a search engine, but I could'nt find any
valuable info !
So you people of good willing, could you tell me exactly how you do it ?
I'm not looking for "I heard that.. " or "you should look here ..."
responses, but for a simple, basical "operating manual".
I previously used "expire.c" utility wich was working perfectly, untill we
implemented Informix 64 bit, where it now returns an error code, and I'm
now sitting like an idiot, facing my tapes filling with those ##### logs !
I would also avoid the solution of manually deleting volumes specially
dedicated to that data, if possible ...
Many, many thanks in advance for your help, I'm really hopeless.
Cheers.

Arnaud
