changing tape to disk storage pool

Hi friends,
    We'r taking backup of DB2, 400Gb to TSM tape storage pools and its taking 
14hrs, which is 6hrs more compare to INFORMIX with same setup in TSM.

Yesterday I have changed 400Gb  backup destination to disk storage pool of size 
100Gb with unlimited filesize and  after I did validation and activation of 
policyset.And I am using tape storage pool as next storage pool.

My problem,
1)still my production node 400Gb backs up data to tape storage pool and why its 
not going to disk storage pool.
2)will it going to save anytime for me if it copies to diskpools.

pls note: recently we have migrated from Informix to DB2.
