All,

Yesterday, my customer got a weird error message while trying to
read/write data to any tapes in their 3583 tape library.

ANR8939E The adapter for tape drive MT1.2.0.5 cannot handle the block
size needed to use the volume.

Environment:
xSeries 342 W2K SP2
3583 Library w/ 2 FC 3580 drives
QLogic 8300 FC adapter
Dual Brocade F16 switches
FAStT700 Storage array used for diskpools & DB volumes.
TSM server 5.1.5.0

Everything was working fine up until this week when we started getting
this error message. We have not changed the block size on the TSM
server and we haven't changed anything on the SAN either
