does the file information be in both the dsm.opt and need to be in the
dsm.sys
here is the syntax:
INCLExcl /tmp/dsm.backup.exclude
exclude /.../core/.../*
exclude /.../unix/.../*
exclude /.../code/.../*
exclude /.../home/.../*
exclude /.../usr/.../*
exclude /.../var/.../*

On NT - they are in one file - on Aix - there is a dsm.opt,dsm.sys
(indicating the name of the INCLEXCL file - and the inclexcl file itself.

exclude /.../.SpaceMan/.../*
exclude.fs /.../u01/.../*
exclude.fs /.../u02/.../*
