This does help...  I have only one group.  Can I, for example, put the dsm.opt 
file on an "H" drive, and have both client 1 and 2 point to that dsm.opt file.  
So if server 1 fails, server 2 will start
up the group scheduler and manage the backups.

You will need to set up 1 TSM client for each cluster node and 1 TSM client
for each cluster group.
Best to do a simple example on this:

Cluster: 2 Nodes, 3 Groups

Installation Node 1:

TSM Client Local1
TSM Client Group1
TSM Client Group2
TSM Client Group3
Every group has its own schedulers, client acceptors and remote agents
(those of group1-3 have to switch with the cluster)..

Installation Node 2:

TSM Client Local2
TSM Client Group1
TSM Client Group2
TSM Client Group3
(Group 1-3 have to be set up exactly like on Node 1!!)
