Hello...one and all
subject:Slow DB2 backups on TSM.

We have recently migrated our database to DB2 from Infromix on AIX 4.3 and TSM 
version level 5.1.0.0.
Before migration.. Informix database use to take 7 -8 hrs for 400Gb 
database(RAW filesystems).Now same size of Database on DB2(raw filesystems) is 
taken 16hrs to offline backup.Guess I'm missing some important parameters 
somewhere on client or server configuration files.


Please can anyone share their knowledge in taking fast efficient backups on DB2 
to TSM.
Advice me what kind of compression makes things work better.

We are just migrated to DB2.

please...... needs urs help.
