I know you shouldn't have to, but have you tried setting the DSM* env
variables? DSM_DIR..DSM_CONFIG...and maybe even the DSMI_* variables for the
API? Just to see if it will get around the problem and maybe more ammunition
for your PMR. I assume from your NODENAME that this is also a SQLServer box?
I've had some strange problems with SQLServer nodes...not the TDP, just the
node.

This is a win2k system and I have seen this on some others we have too.
Those are at level 5.1.5.2 and 5.1.1.3. This one is 5.1.5.2.
Nodename is in upper case in the options file, the service has been removed
and re-created more than once but still have the error message.
The output below is correct
