Hi Andy,

Thanks for your response. I will check for associated messages. You have

Hi Ken,

You may have already done so, but if not, it is always a good idea to look
up messages you are unfamiliar with. For server messages, the easiest way
to do this is to issue the following from the Admin client interface:

    HELP ANR3605E

That will give you a general explanation as to why this message is being
issued (TSM database server unable to communicate with the TSM storage
agent). Among other things you can do, you should verify the status of the
storage agent and make sure it is still running and able to "talk" to the
TSM server. Also look at the activity log information before and after
the ANR3605E message to see if there were any other messages issued that
might yield additional information.

In general, if there is a problem with the Lanfree connection, the client
falls back to using the LAN (a "fault tolerance" feature), which may
explain why your scheduled operations are completing successfully.

Regards,

Andy

I am seeing this message frequently:

ANR3605E Unable to communicate with storage agent.

Where is it coming from?
What is causing it to appear?

I cannot see where any scheduled functions are being affected.
