As I stated in other posts, I agree the quotes could be the problem.
However, in your excludes above there is no need for having multiple
"/.../" in a row, ie these 2 are exactly equal:
Exclude *:\...\kperdue.ADM.VCU.EDU\...\...\...\...\UsrClass.dat
Exclude *:\...\kperdue.ADM.VCU.EDU\...\UsrClass.dat
The "/.../" is a wildcard representation for 0 or more subdirectories.
