Officially it is supported on AIX 4.3.3 for "Oracle 9i 9.0.1 or later".
And because there is specific note that for AIX 5.1 a PTF will be
available by October 31 this should say on AIX 4.3.3 it is supported right
now. Look the announcement for ITSM 5.1.5 from 8-th October.

It may work but I'm unaware of a supported TDP version for Oracle 9.2. TDP
2.2.1 is supported for 8.1.7 and 9.0.1

Hallo,

Would like to know if somebody was able to use successfully TDP2.1.1 with
oracle9.2.0.1 (9ir2) (aix4.3.3/64bit)?

According to the doc, no oracle binary relink is needed and we have just
to
set the SBT_LIBRARY variable.
Does not work in my case:

RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-00569: =============== ERROR MESSAGE STACK FOLLOWS ===============
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================
RMAN-03009: failure of allocate command on c1 channel at 10/11/2002
16:45:41
ORA-19554: error allocating device, device type: SBT_TAPE, device name:
ORA-27211: Failed to load Media Management Library
Additional information: 8

sbttest fail too:

sbttest  a -libname /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/libobk.a
/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/libobk.a could not be loaded. Check
that it is installed
properly, and that LD_LIBRARY_PATH environment variable
(or its equivalent on your platform) includes the directory
where this file can be found. Here is some additional
information on the cause of this error:
        0509-022 Cannot load module
/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/oracle/bin64/libobk.a.
        0509-103 The module has an invalid magic number.

Thanks in advance for any help
Christian
