Guys,

I have been trawling through the archives here and I am unable to find
a suitable answer.

I have noted that when you use the WEB/DSM GUI it actually displays the
archive contents fairly quickly, so I suspect that there HAS to be a
quicker way of getting the result I need.

Basically, I want to know what filespaces are in a given archive. I
already know the archive name, so here is the select statement I am
using:-

select DISTINCT filespace_name from archives where
description='description' and node_name='nodename'

This actually DOES work fine, but it takes anything between 3-5 minutes
to get a result.

Anyone know of a quicker way of doing it? - anyone know how the WEB/DSM
gui does it so quickly?.

Kind Regards,

Roy Lake
