Re: Pending tapes

I presume these are all offsite tapes. If they are not you can just do a
DELETE VOLUME and the tape will scratch immediately if you are in trouble of
running out of scratch tapes.

Subject: Pending tapes
For the past year I haven't had any problems with my pending tapes expiring
for re-use. The re-use delay is still set to 5, which it was a year ago.
Nothing has changed on the system, anywhere, yet I've watched the pending
tapes grow over the past 2 weeks from a low of 75 to what it is today, 220.
I figured at some point I would have a recall of a hundred or so, which it
still might, but so far nothing. Anyone else seen this and had to run an
audit on the db or something to fix it? I don't really want to take the
system down unless I have to. I have checked and all the admin schedules are
still in tact and running.
