\eep in mind, gentlemen, that TSM does not support bare metal restores
*officially*. There are those that have worked out the processes necessary
to make such restores work properly. (There are some who work for my company
that have done so.)

The basic thing to remember is that you cannot restore system objects while
the system objects are being used. You must build the initial OS (with their
system objects) in a non-default directory, restore the files and original
system objects from TSM, swap some files from point A to point B, and
reboot.
