Hmmm, but then again, LTO is so much faster than DLT, this is really
significant.
Collocating the offsite isn't an option as it would mean sending offsite
12ish tapes a day and with a retention of 30 days plus some stragglers
thats
a hell of a lot of tapes to call abck from DR.
But, with a 5.1 client and server you can do multi-stream restores,
non-collocated storagepools are really an advantage in that case. That
will help you a lot in case of a large restore. It may even be advisable
to turn collocation off on the primairy pools as well if the manual
tells you that multi-stream restores work on novell.
