if i'm reading this correctly, doesn't the "volrange" and "vollist" options
only apply when i specify "search=yes labelsource=barcode"?

Henry,

Check the command documentation by issueing a "help label libv" and you
will see there is to ways to accomplish this either using the "volrange"
option or the "volist" option and specify a file with a list of names.
