Hello,

Sounds like both schedules are in polling mode. Schedule mode that is in
dsm.opt files
I am making an education guess here. I hope a correct one. If it's in
polling mode you can change it to prompted mode or keep it in polling mode
but update Schedule Randomization Percentage setting. If you do "q
status" it will display the value for your current TSM server.
If you have no other clients conflicting change Schedule Randomization
Percentage setting to 0 using SET RANDOMIZE command.
Do "help set randomize" for more information.

This is rather strange.......

I have been working with a user trying to get both a DOMINO DB and regular
server backups scheduled and cooperating. We have been having issues with
INCLUDE/EXCLUDE statements not WAD (where "D" can be either Designed or
Documented !!!.... only got *1* response from here !!!)

Due to recommendations from the Tivoli Redbook on backing up Domino
databases/machines, we have defined two nodes, SPRUCE.VCU.EDU is for the
DB backups and plain old SPRUCE for the OS backups !

So, I updated the client backup schedules, setting them to run at 14:30:00
for the OS backup and 14:45:00 for the Domino DB backups.

So, why did TSM decide to schedule the OS backup at +40 minutes (15:10:00)
and the DB backup at +33 minutes (15:18:00) ???????????
