Hi,

I've been attempting to define a DLT drive to our TSM 4.2 server running
on Solaris 8. I've setup the device (mt) files per the documentation
for installint the TSM device driver for tape drives and
defined the library successfully. However when I issue the command

define drive stk9740 dlt0 device=/dev/rmt/0mt acsdrvid=1,0,1,7

I get this response:

ANR8366E DEFINE DRIVE: Invalid value for ACSDRVID parameter.
ANS8001I Return code 3.

>From all of the documentation I've read I'm using the correct syntax for
the acsdrvid parameter. The drive is known to acsls as 1,0,1,7.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Neal
