I do not have personal experience with this but my CE was in here yesterday
and had been working on a problem all night and still not resolved with
FastT and AIX. He told me to stay clear of it. He said it was a nightmare.
They were having trouble with support due to the people that knew FastT did
not know AIX and vise versa. These are my 2 cents worth and nobody else's.

Subject: TSM using a FastT?

Greetings,
Are any of you using a IBM FastT Storage Server with TSM, for disk
storage pool or database/logs? I have a customer using AIX, who backs
up about 1TB a night, expected to double in a year, who wants to use a
FastT700 when it supports AIX next month. He asked me to find out any
user experiences with the FastT using TSM.

Thanks in advance,

John Schneider
