Gilbert,
Try commenting out the "compressalways yes" line.
I have seen most of the time compresion making backups
longer.
Or, try using compression, but with "compressalways
no".
When you say "compressalways yes" the client will keep
trying to compress files even if the compressed file
becomes bigger. This may be your problem.
