Hi 
I have the same hardware (Compaq DLT Library, 2 x DLT drives, 15 x DLT tapes)
 and os  Windows 2000 AS but just TSM server v.4.2.1.0.
I was defined element address 1 and 2 now it works and I can
checkin all of 15 tapes. Also I think your attached web page is for different
library than yours.

Thema:  DLT Tape Library Compaq 35/70

Hi .. at all,
I have a problem while define a DLT Tape Library 35/70 "Compaq". I'm using
TSM 5.1.1.0 under Windows 2000.
I can define the library with 2 tape drives, but the library only see 7
slots, (and the library have 15 slots) I can to define the tape drives with
element 1 and 2.
I looking in the
http://www.tivoli.com/support/storage_mgr/devices/atab65.htm for same
information, and I find that DLT Tape Library use the element numbre 128
and 129 (for two drives). When I need to change the element number for 128
the TSM say 'Invalid Number'
