HI All,

I've just installed a product that uses a DB2 database and so I have the joys
of interfacing to DB2 for the first time.
TSM client 4.2.1.25 AIX 433 server 4.2.1.8 Aix 433 DB2 7.01 sp 2
I'd like to use an opt file called /a71/app/tsm/app_dsm.opt and I have set up
my DSMI variables correctly - I've checked them very thoroughly

the API backup won't run unless there is a dsm.opt in the api/bin directory,
and if there is one, this is used in preference to the one that I've set in
DSMI_CONFIG
db2adutl query runs fine.

It looks like a bug to me - has anyone else seen it?

Thanks

Steve
