I assume this is on Solaris.. To use the TSM device driver, you will have
to configure the library in lb.conf. The library device name would then be
/dev/rmt/xlb.

All,
Trying to define an ATL P1000 library but I am getting the following error:

tsm: SERVER1>define library atl3000 libtype=scsi device=/dev/rmt/0cbn
ANR8418E DEFINE LIBRARY: An I/O error occurred while accessing library
ATL3000.
ANS8001I Return code 3.

Below are the entries in the st.conf file:
fsgsolsrv3# cat st.conf | grep -v "\#"
tape-config-list=
"QUANTUM DLT7000",      "Quantum DLT7000", "DLT7k-data",
"Quantum DLT4000",      "Quantum DLT4000", "DLT-data";
DLT-data =      1,0x38,0,0xD639,4,0x80,0x81,0x82,0x83,2;
DLT7k-data      =       1,0x38,0,0x1D639,4,0x82,0x83,0x84,0x85,3;
name="st" class="scsi"
   target=0 lun=0;
name="st" class="scsi"
   target=0 lun=1;
name="st" class="scsi"
   target=0 lun=2;
name="st" class="scsi"
   target=0 lun=3;
name="st" class="scsi"
   target=0 lun=4;

Any ideas ? I am new to TSM so keep it basic ! :)

Thanks,
Jorgen Lie
