Hi Guillaume! I don't understand your comments re TSM 4.2.x needing to be
installed but whatever version of TSM is installed you may have to install
the device support for AIX 5.1 as in the package:

tivoli.tsm.devices.aix5.rte

Check with Tivoli support to confirm this but I don't think that the 4.3.x
support .rte package will work with AIX 5.1...

Hi All

We are about to upgrade our AIX servers to AIX 5.1. Is there any gotchas
concerning TSM servers and clients? I know that version 4.2.X of both must
be installed but do we
have to change filesets when upgrading the OS?

Also, is there any performance gains when using the 64bit version of the
server and client.
