It is possible, but take it from me because I am experiencing it currently
first hand on a 3583, when push come to shove and it will.. IBM only has two
"IBM approved" LTO label manufactures (you will have to contact IBM, or
contact me directly and I will give you the Critsit manager's name that this
info came from for the manufactures names). Your home printed labels or
labels purchased elsewhere will be the first place they point their finger
at.
