I would help to know to which client you are referring (operating system
and version). For example, this message might come up on Linux if you have
only EXT3 file systems, because TSM does not (yet) support EXT3.

Anyone ever see this error:
ANS1149E No domain available for incremental backup
I have verified that the server has a domain for this node.
Any other thoughts?
