For TDP for SQL version 1...
Take a look at Chapter 1 of the User's Guide.
Under section titled "Additional SQL Application Client
Backup Strategy Considerations" it discusses
truncation considerations. If you run a
SQLDSMC /BACKUPINCR:DB1 , it should
truncate the log upon successful backup.
FYI... TDP for SQL is out of service
as of 1/26/2002. I realize you are still
running on SQL 6.5 which is not supported
by TDP for SQL 2.2... but I wanted to
make you aware of it.
