1. AFAIK, no! onbar uses single thread, logs are not splitted for backup
and are processed one-by-one. As a very wild guess maybe if the next log
gets full before the current is backed up second onbar process can start
for it and some kind of parallelism can happen. Just guess, do not rely on
this.
2. You can backup dbspaces in separate onbar sessions/invocations. 'onbar
-L 0 dbs1' followed by 'onbar -L 0 dbs2' will backup them in this sequence
using two sessions. On my experience 'onbar -w' performs backup according
using two sessions. On my experience 'onbar -w' performs backup according
the dbspace number you can find in the output of 'onstat -d'.

Subject: TDP for Informix
Hi all TSM'ers,
Just a few questions related to TDP for Informix.
1. Is it possible to backup the logical informix logs using more than
one
TSM session. Currently it uses only one session. It is going to a disk
storage pool fist and gets migrated to tape later.
2. Is there a way to tell onbar in which sequence to backup the DB
spaces?
What sequence does it use by default?
TSM version 4.1.2
AIX version 4.2
Thanks and regards
