The now my only problem left is a failing storage agent service.

I am guessing that my named pipe option isn't correct.

Do you use this option? and if you do where can i find the named pipe name
of the agent ?

You're missing an M so it should be LANFREECOMMMETHOD.

Can someone send me a dsm.opt file of a working LAN free W2K client,

The client I installed keeps giving me error's on dsm.opt options.

eg. LANFREECOMMETHOD generates an error when i start "dsm" ?
