It seems to me that you want to set up Server-to-Server communications It seems 
to me that you want to set up Server-to-Server communications or 
Server-to-Server virtual volumes.  All of the DO's & DON'Ts should be in the
Tivoli Storage Manager for xxx: Administrator's Guide.  Hope this is
