If oslevel returns lower level this means that not all filesets are
upgraded. And if oslevel returns 4.3.1 that means at least one fileset is
still at 4.3.1.
Check with 'oslevel -l 4.3.3.0' to see which filesets still need to be
upgraded. Or use instfix for something like :
instfix -icvk 4.3.3.0_AIX_ML | awk -F: '$5 == "+" {print $3,"-->",$4,$2}'
Again I point that this might not be the root cause for the problem. Anyway
have a look at it. And not only bos.rte but also bos.rte.devices,
bos.rte.lvm, bos.rte.filesystem, bos.rte.libpthreads, bos.up/bos.mp,
bos.net.tcp.client, bos.net.tcp.server, etc.

Well, sorry.. I was wrong in saying we were running 4.3.2.

I will check with our AIX-expert tomorrow, and have him go through the
system...

At least, my bos.rte is at 4.3.3.0, and, as you say, this is requiered for
tsm 4.2.x.

What confused me was the oslevel-command, which returns 4.3.1.0.. Some
time ago our AIX-expert told me not to worry; the level is 4.3.2.

Thanks for your input!

                             Tom.
