I'm not certain that I fully understand what is being requested, but is it
possible that specifying the -passwordaccess=prompt option from the
command line would do the trick? This forces the prompting of a user ID
and password from both CLI and GUI.
dsm -passwordaccess=prompt
or
dsmc -paswordaccess=prompt

I looked at this for 2 hours the other night and could not find a way to
do
it through the GUI. So, it will be interesting what the answer is.
