A few more things to check. You might want to check the server option
"idletimeout" to make sure it is set high enough and maybe even the
"DEMO_AVG_SIZE" environment variable to see if it needs to be increased. As
always, let logic prevail. Start at the TSM server and work your way back
to the Ora backup. Is there an error on the TSM server? (No Mount Points,
Tape Errors, etc..) If so could that be the reason the backup is failing?
Next stop TDP settings and environment variables. Then of course it could
just be a issue with the RMAN script itself.

We notice about the time out as well. But ( :( ) the thing is we
have few ADSM/TSM servers which all set commtimeout 60. so far no problems.
And this client also can backup FS and small instance successfully....

Usually the "error = 73" and "rc: -50" point towards a network timeout
issue and this might be the case. But it can also mean that you are just
not allowing enough time for the Ora backup to start. You might want to
check your commtimeout server option to see if it might need to be
increased. Use q opt and look CommTimeOut.
