The Tivoli Storage Manager Server & Client Compatibility web page
reflects current (supported) product level clients and servers which have
been tested and are known to be compatible. Combinations with older
software are too much in the minority to be worth the vendor going through
that. The End of Currency page lists Final Fixtests and significant
problems known with that software. Beyond that it's a "try it, and if it
works for you, then go with it" situation.
