Expire invetory doesn't work for DB2 backup set

I do manually backup on db2/6000 db whit command db2 backup db CITY use adsm.
I do inactive the backup copy whit the command db2adutl delete, but when I do
expire inventory the process doesn't cure of this and doesn't discard data on
my Cassette. Why????
